Introduction

This Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) outlines the terms and conditions under which cancellations of ride bookings made through DROP SKN Ride (“DROP SKN Ride”) will be handled. By using our services, you agree to adhere to this Policy.

Definitions

  • User: Any individual who books a ride through DROP SKN Ride’s platform.
  • Driver: Any individual who accepts ride requests through DROP SKN Ride’s platform.
  • Ride Booking: The act of scheduling a ride through DROP SKN Ride’s platform.
  • Cancellation: The act of terminating a ride booking before the scheduled pickup time.

Cancellation by Users

Free Cancellation Window

Users can cancel a ride booking free of charge if the cancellation is made within 5 minutes of the ride confirmation and at least 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time.

Cancellation Fees

Cancellations made after the free cancellation window will incur a fee as outlined below:

3.3 No-Show Fees

If a user does not show up at the pickup location within 5 minutes of the scheduled pickup time, it will be considered a “No-Show.”  

Exceptions

No cancellation fee will be charged if the cancellation is due to an emergency or unexpected event, provided the user can present valid proof.

Cancellation by Drivers

Driver-Initiated Cancellations

Drivers may cancel a ride booking without penalty up to 5 minutes after accepting the ride request.

Cancellations made after this period may result in penalties, including but not limited to suspension or deactivation of the driver’s account.

Reassignment of Rides

In the event of a driver-initiated cancellation, DROP SKN Ride will make every effort to reassign the ride to another driver as quickly as possible. Users will be notified of the new driver and any changes in the estimated arrival time.

Refunds

Eligibility

Refunds for cancellations will be processed based on the timing of the cancellation and the type of ride booked.

Processing Time

Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days from the date of the cancellation request.

Disputed Charges

Users may dispute any charges related to cancellations by contacting DROP SKN Ride’s customer support within 30 days of the charge.

Changes to this Policy

DROP SKN Ride reserves the right to modify or update this Policy at any time. Users will be notified of any significant changes through the contact information provided in their account or through our website.
